Mihina, the wife, decides to live with her father-in-law who is unwell. While caring for her father-in-law who calls out the name of an unknown woman, Mihina one day finds an old photograph of a woman who looks exactly like her. This woman was Miyako, whom her father-in-law called out to and harbored feelings for. Asked by her husband to impersonate Miyako for the sake of her father-in-law's love, Mihina takes on the role of Miyako in caring for him.
